KSQM is owned and operated by Sequim Community Broadcasting (SCB), a nonprofit corporation, registered in the State of Washington. SCB is an IRS 501(c) (3) tax exempt corporation. Click Here to see our tax return. SCB is an independent broadcaster with no political or religious affiliation.

KSQM serves the Sequim and Dungeness Valley, which is located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula of Washington. KSQM broadcasts on 91.5 MHz with an effective radiated power of 700 watts.

KSQM is unique in today’s radio environment; we are truly a community radio station and our focus is on Sequim and the Dungeness Valley. Our primary concern is the health and welfare of our listeners, thus we routinely broadcast local weather reports, highway and road conditions, school closures and schedule changes, and anything that may have an impact on our listeners. Additionally, our reports include bridge closures, changes in ferry boat, air carrier, and transit schedules.

KSQM entertains and informs with music from the 40’s, 50’s, and a little beyond, school and community events. KSQM supports other non-profit organizations with announcements of their activities.

KSQM has no paid staff. We are run by a dedicated staff of area volunteers, who come from all walks of life, with the common goal of improving the quality of life for our listeners. In order to continue quality programming, KSQM is dependent upon listener donations and underwriting from local businesses.
